On Friday, March 4 people from 170 countries will join together for the International Day of Prayer. World Day of Prayer is a worldwide, ecumenical movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year. The motto of World Day of Prayer is “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action.” The 2022 theme and service “I Know the Plans I Have for You” from Jeremiah 29:1-14 is written by the women of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Although there are no services in Michigan I hope you will join these women, men and children from around the world in prayer.
Adrian FUMC will offer a prayer journey on Friday, March 4 from 10 am – 6 pm, Saturday, March 5 from 10 am – 6 pm, and Sunday, March 6 from 10 am – 2 pm. The fellowship hall will be transformed into a prayer path where each person can journey through stations as a way to help them to pray scripture, look deeper into their own hearts, and take steps to draw closer to God. Come and experience.
