World Communion Sunday (on the lawn) | Blessing of the Backpacks | Bibles for 3rd Graders | Ice Cream Social

Sunday, October 3 is World Communion Sunday – at 10:45 (following the online streaming of the worship service) we will gather outside for Communion on the lawn (bread and juice will be provided). While celebrating the sacrament with Christians around the world, the special offering collected on that day supports several important educational initiatives. We’ve also rescheduled a “blessing of the backpacks” and presentation of Bibles to 3^rd graders that morning as part of our celebration. Children of all ages (including adults) are asked to bring their school and/or work “backpacks, book bags, briefcases or virtual learning/working devices” to be blessed. There will be an ice cream social following our celebration hosted by the Family Ministry Team.
